AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Recruiting
  • You manage the entire recruiting process—from the initial job posting to the employee’s first day on the job
  • You actively help our P&C Assistant grow—recruiting is becoming more and more her thing
  • You’re responsible for global onboarding and offboarding and ensure that it feels like a genuine welcome
P&C Operations & Compliance
  • Contracts, agreements, and policies—you know what matters
  • You confidently answer labor law questions (Germany & US)—and know when to seek external support
  • Payroll for our Inc. is your responsibility—reliable, on time, and accurate
  • You meticulously maintain and document ISO-relevant P&C processes
  • Reporting: you make P&C data readable and actionable for management
Business Partner & Processes
  • Managers and employees turn to you for P&C issues—and get real answers
  • You take a look at what we have—and make it better: processes, tools, structures

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 3–6 years as a P&C generalist—including at least 2 years in recruiting
  • Labor Law: Strong knowledge of German labor law; basic knowledge of U.S. labor law is a plus
  • International Experience: Experience with international P&C structures (GmbH & Inc.) is a real plus. Fluency in German and English is required.
  • Work Style: Independent, structured, pragmatic—you don’t need close supervision
  • Mindset: You solve problems before others even notice them—and communicate clearly

This position is a parental leave replacement—and is therefore initially limited to 18 months. What this means in practice: You’ll start with full responsibility, a direct line to the CEO, and real autonomy. 
After 18 months, our Head of P&C will return to work part-time. We’ll decide together whether you stay on—in the same or a modified role. We value continuity, not high turnover.
